Projects
Brown Kids Slay Monsters
I wrote this play in 2020. The show received workshops and staged readings at the Edmonton Citadel Theatre, workshops and a production at Nextfest. It was recognized in the Accidental Humour Co's 2021 Playwriting Contest.
Canculture Magazine
I wrote a poem called 'After Hours' that reflected on nightlife and culture in the trans community and how I struggle to fit in as a neurodivergent person. Image Credits: Andrea Zayan/Canculture Magazine.
Funny Business
Funny Business is a short film I wrote, directed, and produced in 2022.
This indie, Queer film explores the intersection between Queerness, childhood, and the imposed conformity and uniformity of capitalism.
Love Letter
Love letter began as an immersive and interactive play about my memories and experiences growing up Trans in a predominantly South Asian neighbourhood in Edmonton.
MetRadio (formerly CJRU)
This is some of the content I created during my time at Met Radio (formerly CJRU 1280AM) as the Community Reporter. In addition to blog, social media, and radio content, I led all the 2022 Summer Festivals coverage.
Pandora's Box
In the summer of 2020 I volunteered with other artists to work with the St. Albert Children's Theatre on a fairy tales writing project. My partner Nicole Sobolewski and I wrote a feminist retelling of Pandora's Box.
Roundtable Talk
I wrote and hosted this Met-TV project. In this series, I interviewed media industry professionals so that students could gain valuable insight. I was also the social media manager for this project.
SpiritLive
As the Community Coordinator at SpiritLive Radio, I managed all social media and blog operations.
Trans Tears
"When I left my big Indiain family, it was one of the hardest times of my life. I was alone and felt it for a long time. This collection is my Trans version of edgy-teenage poetry, because I believe all Trans pain and hurt deserves to be heard, just as all Trans joy and happiness deserves to be seen."
